Call for Volunteers for Pond Conservation Work in Pillayarpuram, Coimbatore

Kovai Kulangal Padhukappu Amaippu invites volunteers for maintenance work of 5000 saplings at Pillayarpuram on June 30, from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM.


Coimbatore: In an ongoing effort to enhance green cover, the Kovai Kulangal Padhukappu Amaippu has scheduled a maintenance session for the third phase of its plantation project. This event is set to take place in Pillayarpuram, a locale under the jurisdiction of Madukkarai Forest Range, on June 30, 2024, from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Up to 5000 saplings planted in earlier phases will be tended to during this session.

Local volunteers from Coimbatore are warmly invited to participate and aid in this eco-friendly initiative. This pursuit not only aims at ecological preservation but also at fostering community involvement in environmental conservation. Interested individuals are encouraged to join the team in nurturing these young plants which play a crucial role in local biodiversity.
