Current Water Levels Announced for Dams in PAP Irrigation Scheme

Officials have released the current water levels for key dams in the PAP irrigation scheme as of June 29, noting the levels of Sholayar, Parambikulam, Aliyar, and Thirumoorthy dams.


Coimbatore: The Department of Water Resources has provided an update on the water levels of the key dams under the PAP irrigation scheme as of today, June 29. According to the announcement, Sholayar Dam is currently at 109.13 feet, Parambikulam Dam at 17.34 feet, Aliyar Dam at 84.00 feet, and Thirumoorthy Dam at 29.67 feet.

These figures are crucial for the water management and agricultural activities within the region. The updates help in effective planning and allocation of water resources for various needs including irrigation and drinking purposes.
