Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) has become a recognized Remote Pilot Training Organization (RPTO) by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). The institution recently celebrated this achievement by awarding certificates to its latest batch of 104 remote pilot trainees. The certification event took place in the Vice Chancellor’s conference room and was noted as a significant milestone under the Institution Development Plan (IDP) supported by the National Agricultural Higher Education Project (NAHEP).

The event highlighted the hard work and achievements of the participants who successfully completed rigorous training in remote piloting operations. The training, supported by advanced curriculum and industry collaboration, enhances essential skills among graduates for unmanned aerial vehicle operations, crucial for agriculture, disaster management, environmental monitoring, and infrastructure studies.
