MLA Amman K. Arjunan Inaugurates Construction of Public Distribution Shop in Ward 45, Coimbatore

Coimbatore North constituency MLA Amman K. Arjunan performed Bhoomi Puja for a new Public Distribution System shop in Ward 45, Annai Sathya Nagar on July 8. The project, valued at Rs. 24 lakhs, is funded by the MLA Constituency Development Fund.


Coimbatore: On July 8, Coimbatore North constituency MLA Amman K. Arjunan inaugurated the construction of a new Public Distribution System (PDS) shop in Ward 45, Annai Sathya Nagar. The project, estimated to cost Rs. 24 lakhs, is being funded through the MLA Constituency Development Fund.

The ceremony began with a Bhoomi Puja, marking the auspicious start of the construction work. The new PDS shop is expected to benefit the residents of Ward 45, which falls under the Coimbatore North Assembly constituency in the Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation.



Several local officials and party members attended the event to show their support. Among those present were K. Karuppaiah, the Area Secretary of the party, Venugopal, the Circle Secretary, along with other circle secretaries, party executives, and members of the public.

This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts to improve public services and infrastructure in the Coimbatore North constituency. The new PDS shop, once completed, will enhance the accessibility of essential commodities for the residents in the area, streamlining the distribution process.

The MLA's involvement in such grassroots projects demonstrates the government's commitment to strengthening the public distribution system and ensuring that basic necessities are readily available to all citizens.
