Sanitation Drive in Ward 27 of Coimbatore Corporation

Coimbatore Corporation conducted a thorough cleaning operation in Ward 27, focusing on the main road of Peelamedu Avarampalayam. Councillor Ambika Danapal inspected the work, ensuring comprehensive waste removal.


Coimbatore: The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation undertook a significant sanitation drive in Ward 27 on Sunday, July 9. The cleaning operation focused on the main road of Peelamedu Avarampalayam, targeting waste accumulation on both sides of the thoroughfare.

Ward Councillor Ambika Danapal personally visited the site to oversee the cleaning process. She instructed the sanitation workers to ensure a thorough and complete removal of all waste from the area. The councillor's hands-on approach demonstrated the local administration's commitment to maintaining cleanliness in the ward.



Accompanying Councillor Danapal during the inspection were Ward Inspector Vijayakumar and Ward Supervisor Maheswari. Their presence underlined the coordinated effort of the municipal staff in executing the sanitation drive effectively.



This cleanliness initiative in Ward 27 is part of the Coimbatore Corporation's ongoing efforts to improve sanitation and public health across the city. Such drives not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of the areas but also contribute to better hygiene and living conditions for the residents.
