Coimbatore: The barricade under Vadakovai flyover in Coimbatore was in a perilous state with broken barriers, posing a significant risk of accidents. Concerned citizens had urgently called for immediate action to address this hazardous situation.

SimpliCity had reported on this issue three days ago, bringing it to public attention. Following the news report, Coimbatore Corporation officials swiftly responded to the problem.



Upon inspection, the officials identified the risk and took prompt action. They removed the precariously hanging concrete barriers and replaced them with temporary metal barriers to ensure public safety.

The quick response of the Corporation officials in preventing a potential disaster has been widely appreciated by the local residents. Their timely intervention has significantly reduced the risk of accidents on the flyover.
