Power Outage Announced for Irugur and Somayampalayam Sub-stations Tomorrow

Electricity Board announces power cuts in Irugur and Somayampalayam areas on July 12 from 9 AM to 5 PM due to monthly maintenance work at the sub-stations.


Coimbatore: The Electricity Board has announced a power outage in several areas of Coimbatore district tomorrow, July 12, due to scheduled monthly maintenance work at the Irugur and Somayampalayam sub-stations. The power cut will be in effect from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Areas affected under the Irugur sub-station include Irugur, Ondiputhur, Ottarpalayam, Ravuthur, parts of Pallapalayam, Chinthamaniputhur, parts of Kannampalayam, parts of Chinniyampalayam, Venkitapuram, parts of Thotti Palayam, parts of Goldwins, and Athappa Goundan Puthur.

The areas that will experience power disruption under the Somayampalayam sub-station are Yamuna Nagar, Kalapanaickenpalayam, GCT Nagar, Luana Nagar, Kanuvai, Thadagam Road, Somayampalayam, Agarwal School Road, Cheran Industrial Area, KNG Puthur, Vidya Colony, Saj Garden, Teachers Colony, VMT Nagar, Nametha Garden, Abdul Kalam Colony, and Megalamanai Road.
