Minister Muthuswamy Inaugurates Additional Classrooms at Sanganoor Corporation Middle School in Coimbatore

Minister S. Muthuswamy inaugurated seven additional classrooms worth Rs. 91 lakhs at Sanganoor Corporation Middle School in Ward 32, Coimbatore on July 11, 2024. The project was funded under the Elementary Education Fund scheme.


Coimbatore: Minister for Housing and Urban Development S. Muthuswamy inaugurated seven additional classrooms at the Sanganoor Corporation Middle School in Ward 32 of Coimbatore on Thursday (11.07.2024). The classrooms, constructed at a cost of Rs. 91 lakhs under the Elementary Education Fund scheme, aim to enhance the educational infrastructure in the city.

The inauguration ceremony was presided over by District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati IAS. Coimbatore Member of Parliament Dr. Ganapathi P. Rajkumar and Corporation Commissioner M. Sivaguru Prabhakaran IAS were also present at the event.



The newly constructed classrooms are expected to significantly improve the learning environment for students at the Sanganoor Corporation Middle School. This initiative is part of the government's efforts to upgrade educational facilities and accommodate the growing student population in Coimbatore's urban areas.

Deputy Mayor R. Vetri Selvan, Corporation Deputy Commissioner Dr. S. Selva Surabi, former MLA N. Karthik, former Thondamuthur Panchayat President Ravi, Central Zone Chairman Mrs. Meenalogu, Education Committee Chairperson Mrs. Malathi Nagaraj, Ward Councillor R. Parthiban, Executive Engineer Karuppasamy, Assistant Executive Engineer Mrs. Hemalatha, and other Corporation officials attended the function.



The inauguration of these additional classrooms underscores the government's commitment to improving educational infrastructure in Coimbatore. It is expected to benefit hundreds of students in the Sanganoor area, providing them with better facilities for their academic pursuits.
