The Maha Kumbabhishekam of Sri Siddhi Vinayagar, Visalakshi Amman, Panchamuka Lingeswarar, and Sri Renuka Devi Amman Temple in Udumalaipettai, Tiruppur district, was celebrated with grand rituals and devotee participation on February 12, 2024.
Coimbatore: The Maha Kumbabhishekam of Sri Siddhi Vinayagar, Visalakshi Amman, Panchamuka Lingeswarar, and Sri Renuka Devi Amman Temple in Rudhrappa Nagar, Udumalaipettai, Tiruppur district, was celebrated with great fervor and devotion on February 12, 2024. The event, which began on February 10 with the bringing of holy water and Mulaippari ritual, culminated in a grand consecration ceremony.
The day's events commenced with the second Kala Yagam, followed by auspicious music, Vedic chanting, Vigneswara Puja, Punyaha Vachanam, Vedikarjanai, and Thatkala Moola Mantra Homams. The Raja Gopuram and the main shrine deities underwent the Maha Kumbabhishekam ritual, led by Thanjavur Dinesh Selva Muthukumar Sivachariar.

Holy water collected from various sacred sites was poured over the temple towers, marking the Maha Kumbabhishekam. This was followed by Maha Deeparadhana. Devotees were then sprinkled with the consecrated water. A special puja was performed for Sri Siddhi Vinayagar, Sri Visalakshi Amman, Sri Panchamuka Lingeswarar, and Renuka Devi Amman, which saw the participation of a large number of devotees who received darshan of the deities.
The temple administration had made extensive arrangements for the Kumbabhishekam ceremony, ensuring a smooth and spiritually enriching experience for all participants. The event drew devotees from various parts of the region, highlighting the temple's significance in the local community.
