Coimbatore: The Sri Kadaiyeswarar Temple in Kadaiyur, Kangeyam, Tiruppur district, witnessed a grand Kumbabishekam ceremony today, attracting lakhs of devotees and members of the public. The temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, also houses shrines for Sri Vinayagar, Sri Pangasatchi Ambigai, Sri Vellaiamman, and Sri Karunagara Perumal.
The Kumbabishekam rituals began with the establishment of yagasalais (sacrificial altars) in the temple premises. Vedic mantras were chanted, and special homams were performed for the sacred water-filled kalasams. The main event of the Kumbabishekam took place during the auspicious Simha lagna (Leo ascendant).

Devotees thronged the temple to receive blessings from Sri Vinayagar, Sri Pangasatchi Ambigai, Sri Kadaiyeswarar, Sri Vellaiamman, and Sri Karunagara Perumal with Sridevi and Bhudevi.
