Rs 1.63 Crore Allocated for Community Hall in Sirumugai Town Panchayat's Fruit Garden

Sirumugai Town Panchayat officials thanked Nilgiris MP A. Raja for securing Rs 1.63 crore funds to construct a community hall in the fruit garden area, benefiting local residents.


Coimbatore: The Sirumugai Town Panchayat has received a significant boost with the allocation of Rs 1.63 crore for the construction of a community hall in its fruit garden area. This development comes as a result of efforts by Nilgiris MP A. Raja, who was instrumental in securing the funds.

In a show of gratitude, Sirumugai Town Panchayat President Malathi Udayakumar and Vice President Senthil Kumar visited the Mettupalayam camp office on July 12. They expressed their thanks by presenting a shawl to MP A. Raja for his role in facilitating the fund allocation.

The officials also extended their appreciation to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, Ministers K.N. Nehru and Udhayanidhi Stalin for their support in approving the project. This community hall is expected to serve as a valuable asset for the residents of Sirumugai, providing a space for various social gatherings and events.

The allocation of Rs 1.63 crore for this project demonstrates the government's commitment to improving infrastructure in smaller towns and panchayats. Once completed, the community hall in the fruit garden area of Sirumugai Town Panchayat will likely become a focal point for community activities and social interactions.
