Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (Tangedco) has announced a scheduled power outage for tomorrow, July 18, in areas served by the Marchinaickenpalayam sub-station in Pollachi. The suspension of electricity supply is due to planned monthly maintenance work at the sub-station.
According to the official statement released today, the power cut will be in effect from 9 AM to 4 PM. Residents and businesses in the following areas should prepare for a seven-hour interruption in their electricity supply: M.N. Palayam, Vazhaikombunagoor, Subbaiyagoundanputhur, Alangadavu, Valanthayamaram, Meenatchipuram, Kulathuputhur, Periyapodhu, Divansapudur, Ganapathipalayam, Govindapuram, Kaliyappagoundanputhur, and Aathupollachi.
