Various Development Works Undertaken in Coimbatore Corporation's Ward 1

Coimbatore Corporation's Ward 1 witnessed multiple development activities including drain cleaning, water pipeline repair, and sanitation works under the guidance of Ward Councillor Karpagam Rajasekharan.


Coimbatore: Ward 1 of Coimbatore Corporation saw a flurry of development activities today, as directed by Ward Councillor Karpagam Rajasekharan. The works spanned across various localities, addressing crucial civic issues and enhancing public amenities.

On the Thudiyalur-Mettupalayam Road, drain cleaning operations were carried out. The Councillor also urged shop owners who had encroached upon the drains to remove their encroachments, emphasizing the importance of unobstructed drainage systems.



In Appanaickenpalayam-Jallikattu area, repairs were undertaken to fix a broken drinking water pipeline, ensuring uninterrupted water supply to residents. The premises of the Vinayagar Temple in Aiswarya Garden were cleaned thoroughly, improving the surroundings of the religious site.

Mosquito fogging was conducted in Mullai Nagar area as part of vector control measures. The main road in Appanaickenpalayam saw drain desilting work, while in Raju Garden area, household connections to the underground drainage system were provided.



Anna Colony in Thudiyalur, Jallikattu West Street, and Mullai Nagar areas underwent drain cleaning operations. It is noteworthy that sanitation works were carried out throughout the ward, reflecting the corporation's commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.

These multi-faceted development works in Ward 1 demonstrate the Coimbatore Corporation's efforts to address various civic issues and improve the quality of life for residents across different localities.
