63 Petitions Resolved at Public Grievance Redressal Camp at Coimbatore SP Office

A public grievance redressal camp was held at the Coimbatore District Superintendent of Police office on July 24, addressing 82 petitions. 63 petitions were amicably resolved, with 4 FIRs registered and 15 recommended for further investigation.


Coimbatore: A public grievance redressal camp was conducted at the Coimbatore District Superintendent of Police office on Monday (July 24), under the leadership of Coimbatore District Superintendent of Police Badri Narayanan.



During the camp, 82 petitions were examined, covering issues related to family disputes, financial transactions, and land conflicts. Of these, 63 petitions were amicably resolved, while First Information Reports (FIRs) were registered for four cases.



The SP recommended further investigation for the remaining 15 petitions.

The camp saw the participation of the Additional Superintendent of Police, Deputy Superintendents of Police, and Police Inspectors. These officials actively engaged in addressing the public's complaints and took necessary steps to resolve the grievances presented.
