The City Police department has initiated an effort to rescue children who are forced into begging. It is reported that this is now a widespread business for agents from the North who abduct children and force them into begging. Such children are commonly found by signals or on the roadside.
According to the orders of Amalraj, City Police Commissioner, the rescue mission which began today morning will extend until evening. The police department will release information on the children rescued later in the evening.
