Officials Inspect Integrated Command and Control Centre in Coimbatore

Joint Managing Director of TWAD Board, Anand Mohan IAS, visited Coimbatore's Integrated Command and Control Centre on July 26. He reviewed its operations in the presence of Corporation Commissioner M Sivaguru Prabhakaran IAS.


Coimbatore: The Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) of Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation received a high-profile visit on July 26. Anand Mohan IAS, Joint Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board (TWAD), inspected the facility located at the Corporation Kalaiarangam in R.S. Puram, West Zone.

The inspection was conducted in the presence of Corporation Commissioner M Sivaguru Prabhakaran IAS. Anand Mohan took a keen interest in understanding the operations and functionalities of the ICCC, which serves as the nerve center for various municipal services.



During the visit, Anand Mohan was briefed about the advanced technologies and systems employed at the ICCC. The centre plays a crucial role in monitoring and managing urban services, including water supply, sanitation, traffic management, and emergency response systems.



Several senior officials accompanied the inspection team, including Deputy Commissioner K. Sivakumar, Chief City Engineer Anbazhagan, City Health Officer (in-charge) Dr. Boopathi, and Assistant Commissioner Santhiya. Zonal Health Officers Gunasekaran, Ramachandran, and Thirumal, along with Assistant Engineer Kamalakkannan and other corporation officials, were also present during the visit.

The ICCC, a key component of the Smart Cities Mission, aims to enhance the efficiency of municipal services and improve the quality of life for Coimbatore's residents through integrated urban management.
