On July 31, Municipality Chairman Syamala Navaneethakrishnan inaugurated a new water pipeline in the Vinayagar Kovil Street area, addressing a problem that had persisted for 45 years.

Following the inauguration, Chairman Syamala Navaneethakrishnan, accompanied by Ward Councilor Balakrishnaveni Ashokkumar and municipal officials, conducted an inspection of areas affected by continuous heavy rainfall in Pollachi. The team visited Thanthai Periyar Street and Rajaji Street in Ward 25 to assess any potential damage caused by the ongoing downpour.
