MLA Vanathi Srinivasan Seeks Meeting with CM on Coimbatore Airport Expansion and Infrastructure

MLA Vanathi Srinivasan requests Chief Minister Stalin for a meeting to discuss Coimbatore airport expansion and constituency infrastructure during an event at Coimbatore Government Arts College.


Coimbatore: MLA Vanathi Srinivasan, representing Coimbatore South constituency, has requested Chief Minister M.K. Stalin for a meeting to discuss the expansion of Coimbatore Airport and infrastructure development in her constituency. The request was made during a brief interaction at the launch event of the Tamil Puthalvan scheme held at Coimbatore Government Arts College.

Vanathi Srinivasan, who was allocated a seat on the stage, spoke with the Chief Minister after the event concluded. Speaking to reporters afterwards, she said, "The Chief Minister thanked me for participating in the Tamil Puthalvan event. I informed him that this college falls within my constituency."

The BJP MLA further stated, "I have requested Chief Minister Stalin for time to discuss the Coimbatore Airport expansion and infrastructure development in the Coimbatore South constituency. He assured me that we could definitely have a discussion on these matters."

Vanathi Srinivasan also mentioned that the Chief Minister had invited her to attend the release of the "Kalaignar" coin on the 18th. "The Chief Minister told me that leaders from all parties are participating, and he invited me to attend as well," she added.

The interaction between the opposition MLA and the Chief Minister at a government function has drawn attention, highlighting the potential for bipartisan cooperation on developmental issues in Coimbatore.
