Karpagam Academy of Higher Education Inaugurates 21-Day Students Induction Programme

The Faculty of Engineering at Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, Coimbatore, launched a 21-day Students Induction Programme on August 14, 2024, welcoming first-year engineering students with inspiring speeches and guidance.


Coimbatore: The Faculty of Engineering at Karpagam Academy of Higher Education (KAHE) in Coimbatore inaugurated a 21-day Students Induction Programme on August 14, 2024, at 10:00 am. The event aimed to welcome and orient first-year engineering students to their new academic journey.

Dr. A. Amudha, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at KAHE, extended a warm welcome to the chief guest and the incoming first-year engineering students. Dr. R. Vasanthakumar, President of Karpagam Educational Institutions, presided over the function and delivered the presidential address.



In his speech, Dr. Vasanthakumar advised the students to maintain discipline and seize all opportunities in the right way. He also introduced and honored the chief guest, KalaimamaniMarabinMainthan Muthiah, with a bouquet.

The chief guest, KalaimamaniMarabinMainthan Muthiah, addressed the gathering, congratulating the students for choosing engineering and specifically selecting Karpagam Academy of Higher Education. He emphasized the importance of self-confidence, facing challenges, respecting elders and parents, and motivated the students to dream big through moral stories.



Muthiah also provided guidance on making the most of their graduation and grasping knowledge and opportunities in the competitive world. His speech aimed to inspire and prepare the students for their academic journey ahead.

Dr. R. Ravi, Registrar of KAHE, gave the freshers a glimpse of the institution's history and achievements. Following this, Dr. A. Amudha introduced the respective department heads to the students and parents, familiarizing them with the faculty structure.



The inauguration ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. M. Deivanayaki, Head of the Department of Science and Humanities, Faculty of Engineering. The event set a positive tone for the 21-day induction programme, which is designed to help the new students acclimate to their academic environment and prepare for their engineering studies.



The 21-day Students Induction Programme is expected to provide a comprehensive orientation to the first-year students, covering various aspects of academic life, campus facilities, and career opportunities in the field of engineering.
