Ukkadam Hyper Park Inauguration and Art Street Announcement for Coimbatore Vizha

District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati inaugurated Ukkadam Hyper Park and announced Art Street event for Coimbatore Vizha. The park, a collaborative effort, offers diverse spaces for reading, play, and relaxation.



Coimbatore: The inauguration of Ukkadam Hyper Park in the Ukkadm Art District took place today, with Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati gracing the event. The Collector officially opened the park in the presence of R. Sundar, Joint Managing Trustee of SNR Sons Trust, Ravindran of RAAC, Arun Senthilnathan, Chairman of Coimbatore Vizha, and Vikas & Danish, founders of Start India.

Speaking at the event, the District Collector hailed the Ukkadam Art District as a landmark of Coimbatore. The Ukkadm Hyper Park is a collaborative project involving Start India Foundation, Asian Paints, Coimbatore Corporation, Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board (TNUHDB), Coimbatore Residents Awareness Association (RAAC), and Coimbatore Vizha.



The park has been designed to include various sections such as reading areas, playgrounds, relaxation zones, and discussion spaces, catering to diverse community needs. This multi-functional approach aims to create a vibrant public space for residents of all ages.

Following the park's inauguration, an announcement was made regarding the Art Street event of Coimbatore Vizha. District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati unveiled the logo for the Art Street event, which is scheduled to take place on November 30 and December 1 at Race Course, Scheme Road.



This year's Art Street promises to be a showcase of both art and traditional handicrafts, offering a platform for local artists and artisans to display their creations. The event is expected to attract art enthusiasts and culturati from across the region, further cementing Coimbatore's position as a hub for arts and culture.



The inauguration of Ukkadm Hyper Park and the announcement of Art Street highlight Coimbatore's commitment to urban development and cultural promotion. These initiatives are set to enhance the city's public spaces and provide new avenues for artistic expression and community engagement.
