New School Management Committee Members Elected at Anaiyur Government High School, Coimbatore

Anaiyur Government High School in Annur Union held elections for new members of the School Management Committee, following government guidelines and procedures.


Coimbatore: The Anaiyur Government High School in Annur Union conducted elections for new members of the School Management Committee (SMC). The restructuring of the committee was carried out in accordance with government guidelines.

Headmistress A. Anitta presided over the election process, serving as the officiating officer for the SMC restructuring. Prior to the election, she briefed the attendees on various aspects of the process, including government guidelines, attendance registration, rules to be followed, eligibility criteria for member selection, and the time frame for the election.



Following the briefing, the election was conducted smoothly. Arunadevi was elected as the chairperson of the School Management Committee, while Moorthy was chosen as the vice-chairperson. After the election, all newly elected members took an oath, formally assuming their roles in the committee.

The formation of a new School Management Committee is expected to bring fresh perspectives and ideas to enhance the overall management and functioning of Anaiyur Government High School. This democratic process ensures active participation of stakeholders in the school's administration, ultimately benefiting the students and the local community.
