DMK held ward general members meetings in Sai Baba Colony and Maniyakaranpalayam areas of Coimbatore North constituency on August 25, 2024, following decisions made at the district secretaries' meeting.
Coimbatore: The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) conducted ward general members meetings in two areas of the Coimbatore North constituency on Sunday, August 25, 2024. The meetings were held in compliance with decisions made at the district secretaries' meeting on August 16, 2024, under the leadership of M.K Stalin, the party president and Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.

The first meeting took place at 12:00 PM at Ponmani Wedding Hall in Nallampalayam for the Sai Baba Colony area's 18th ward committee.

The second meeting was held at 12:45 PM in Ganapathy Nagar Block-1 area for the Maniyakaranpalayam area's 20th ward committee.

N. Karthik, former MLA and DMK Coimbatore Urban District Secretary, attended both meetings, offering his congratulations and delivering special addresses.

The Sai Baba Colony area meeting was attended by K.M. Ravi, the area secretary, Jayachandran, the 18th ward committee secretary, and various other local officials and party members.

The Maniyakaranpalayam area meeting saw the participation of Kalpana Senthil, the urban district deputy secretary, Anjugam Palaniyappan, the area secretary, and R. Pugazhendhi, the 20th ward committee secretary, among other local leaders and party workers.
Both meetings were well-attended by ward general members, booth committee members, party activists, and volunteers, demonstrating the DMK's strong grassroots presence in the Coimbatore North constituency.
