Coimbatore: In a touching display of respect and affection, Mallika, a recently retired female employee of Coimbatore Airport, was given a heartwarming send-off by her relatives. The emotional scene unfolded at the airport premises, where Mallika had diligently served for years.

Mallika, hailing from Salem district, had worked as an attender at Coimbatore Airport. Today marked the end of her illustrious career as she retired from her position after completing her tenure.



Having served a total of 28 years in both Mumbai and Coimbatore airports, Mallika's dedication and hard work were acknowledged in a special way. Her relatives came to the airport to honor her retirement. In a gesture of love and appreciation, they adorned her with a money garland, a traditional way of showing respect and wishing prosperity in Tamil culture.
