Coimbatore: District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati has announced that a crucial meeting on preventing and handling sexual harassment in schools, colleges, and women's workplaces across Coimbatore district will be held tomorrow, September 2nd. The video conference will be chaired by the Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu Government.
The meeting is scheduled to take place at Nirmala College at 3 PM. Collector Pati has instructed all principals of schools in Coimbatore, along with principals of arts and science colleges, engineering colleges, management institutions, law colleges, and medical colleges to attend this important video conference.
In addition to educational institutions, heads of all private colleges and department heads are also required to participate in this meeting conducted by the Chief Secretary. The initiative aims to address and strengthen measures against sexual harassment in educational and professional environments across the district.
