A total of 708 Vinayagar idols have been installed and are being worshipped at various locations across the district.
To ensure public safety during the festivities, a robust security arrangement of 3,500 police personnel has been deployed throughout the district. The police force is actively engaged in maintaining law and order as the celebrations progress.
