Pollachi MP K. Eswarasamy launched multiple development initiatives in Periya Negamam on September 16, including road construction and a children's park, with a total budget of Rs. 89.75 lakhs.
Coimbatore: Pollachi Member of Parliament K. Eswarasamy inaugurated several development projects in Periya Negamam on Saturday, September 16, marking a significant step towards enhancing local infrastructure and community facilities.
The day began with a Bhoomi Puja ceremony for a new link road connecting Periya Negamam-Palladam Road to Chandrapuram Road. This project, estimated at Rs. 17 lakhs, aims to improve connectivity in the area. Eswarasamy participated in the ceremony, officially commencing the construction work.

Another Bhoomi Puja was conducted for a road project stretching from the front of the Primary Health Center in Periya Negamam, Kaliyapanpalayam, to Vaaikkal Medu. This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts to enhance the region's road infrastructure.
In the Negamam Perur Kazhaga area of Coimbatore South District, various welfare schemes totaling Rs. 72.75 lakhs were launched. The highlight of these initiatives was the inauguration of a children's park at Sri Sai KVK Residency on Negamam Palladam Road. MP Eswarasamy officially opened the park, which is expected to provide a safe and enjoyable space for local children.

The events were attended by DMK executives and local body representatives, underlining the collaborative effort in bringing these development projects to fruition. These initiatives are anticipated to significantly improve the quality of life for residents in Periya Negamam and surrounding areas.
