Coimbatore Collector Stays at CRPF Training College Campus in North Taluk

Coimbatore Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati stays overnight at CRPF Training College in Periyanaickenpalayam as part of the "Ungalai Thedi Ungal Ooril" scheme. Officials conduct inspections and address public grievances in the area.

Coimbatore: District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati is staying overnight at the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Training College campus in Periyanaickenpalayam, which falls under the Coimbatore North Taluk. This visit is part of the Tamil Nadu government's "Ungalai Thedi Ungal Ooril" (In Search of You in Your Village) scheme.

The scheme requires collectors to tour one revenue circle per month and stay in a village within that circle. As part of this initiative, Collector Pati conducted inspections in various areas of Periyanaickenpalayam on September 18th.

Due to the presence of elephants in the area during nighttime, the Forest Department has intensified surveillance around the CRPF campus. The Coimbatore City Police have also heightened security measures for the Collector's stay.

All department officials who accompanied the Collector for inspections are staying in various parts of the Periyanaickenpalayam region tonight. It is noteworthy that they will continue to address public grievances in the area until 10 AM tomorrow.

The "Ungalai Thedi Ungal Ooril" scheme aims to bring administration closer to the people by having top district officials stay in rural areas and directly address the concerns of local residents. This approach allows for a more hands-on understanding of the issues faced by villagers and facilitates quicker resolution of their problems.
