Coimbatore: District Revenue Officer (DRO) Dr. Sharmila conducted an inspection of various facilities in Gudalur Municipality today (Sept. 19) as part of the "Ungalai Thedi Ungal Ooril" (Seeking You in Your Town) program. The visit focused on assessing the implementation of government schemes and the condition of public amenities in the area.

The DRO's first stop was the food center of the Chief Minister's Breakfast Scheme operating in South Palayam, Gudalur Municipality. She thoroughly examined the facility to ensure its proper functioning and adherence to standards.
Following this, Dr. Sharmila inspected several other public facilities, including the sub-health center, the overhead tank for drinking water quality, and the toilets at the primary school. The comprehensive inspection aimed to evaluate the overall infrastructure and services provided to the local community.

Accompanying the DRO during the inspection were Municipal Commissioner Manoharan, Deputy Chairman Rajendran, and several municipal councilors including Muruganantham, Durai Senthil, Madasamy, Balasubramaniam, Janarthanan, Bank Murugesan, and S.R.B. Palanisamy, among others. Their presence ensured that local officials were directly involved in the assessment process and could address any concerns or suggestions raised during the inspection.
