Distribution of Welfare Scheme Benefits to Muslim Women in Coimbatore

Coimbatore District Collector and MP distribute government welfare benefits to Muslim women at an event organized by the Minority Welfare Department on September 21, 2024, at Manbaul Uloom Higher Secondary School.


Coimbatore: The Minority Welfare Department of Coimbatore district, in collaboration with the Coimbatore District Muslim Women's Aid Association, organized an event to distribute welfare scheme benefits to Muslim women. The function was held at Manbaul Uloom Higher Secondary School on September 21, 2024.



Coimbatore District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati, IAS, and Coimbatore Member of Parliament Dr. Ganapathi P. Rajkumar presided over the event and distributed the government welfare benefits to the beneficiaries.



The event was attended by several dignitaries, including former District Sessions Judge A. Mohamed Ziavudeen, Coimbatore Mayor K. Ranganayaki Ramachandran, Deputy Mayor R. Vetri Selvan, and Corporation Finance Committee Chairperson V.I. Mubashira.

This initiative aims to support and empower Muslim women in the Coimbatore district by providing them access to various government welfare schemes. The event showcased the collaborative efforts of the local administration and community organizations in ensuring that the benefits reach the intended recipients.
