Comedian Aranthangi Nisha, attending an event in Coimbatore, commented on the Cook with Comali show controversy. She condemned the degradation of women and spoke about women's progress in society.

Coimbatore: Comedian Aranthangi Nisha, who was a special guest at the KGF Exhibition and Fashion Show held in Kalappatti area of Coimbatore, shared her thoughts on women's progress and the recent Cook with Comali controversy.

After dancing with students at the event, Nisha spoke to reporters. "As Periyar said, take the ladle from women's hands and give them a book. Today, more women are taking the stage. Behind every woman's success, there are men supporting them," she stated.

When asked about the controversy surrounding the Cook with Comali show, Aranthangi Nisha said, "I don't know exactly what happened there. But whenever something happens to women, I will stand by them. As a woman, I condemn this. Please do not speak degradingly about a woman."

Speaking about her cinema opportunities, she said, "Currently, I am acting in small roles. I would be happy to get good comedy roles. I have played a comedy role in 'Valli Mayil', directed by Suseenthiran and starring Vijay Antony. I hope this film will be well-received by the audience when it releases."

Nisha also mentioned that she is looking forward to more substantial roles in the future that showcase her comedic talents.
