Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) in Coimbatore is set to organize a two-day training program on "Value Added Products from Millets" on October 3-4, 2024. The course will cover traditional foods, pasta, bakery products, and instant food mixes made from millets.

Interested individuals can participate by paying Rs. 1,770 (including 18% GST) on the first day of the training. The program will be held at the Centre for Post Harvest Technology, Agricultural Engineering College & Research Institute, TNAU, Coimbatore, from 9 am to 5 pm on both days.

For those traveling by bus, the nearest stop is Gate No. 07 (opposite the Botanical Garden) on Marudhamalai Road. Further details can be obtained by contacting the Professor and Head of the Centre for Post Harvest Technology at TNAU via email at [email protected] or by calling 94885 18268.

This training program presents an excellent opportunity for entrepreneurs and food enthusiasts to learn about innovative ways to incorporate nutritious millets into various food products, potentially opening new avenues in the health food sector.
