Bharathiar University extends B.Ed application deadline

Bharathiar University in Coimbatore has extended the application deadline for B.Ed courses to November 15 due to unfilled seats. The distance education center offers eight subject streams.

Coimbatore: The Bharathiar University in Coimbatore has announced an extension of the application deadline for B.Ed courses offered through its distance education center. The decision comes as the total 500 seats available across eight subject streams have not been filled for the current academic year.

The university's distance education center offers B.Ed programs in eight subject areas, including Tamil, English, Mathematics, and Science. Despite the initial application process, the seats have not been completely filled, prompting the university to extend the deadline.

In a press release issued on October 13, the university stated that the application deadline has been extended until November 15. This extension aims to provide more time for interested candidates to apply and potentially fill the remaining seats in the B.Ed programs.

The move is expected to benefit aspiring teachers who may have missed the initial deadline or were undecided about pursuing the B.Ed course. The extension also reflects the university's efforts to ensure full enrollment in its distance education programs.

Prospective students interested in applying for the B.Ed courses at Bharathiar University now have additional time to submit their applications. The university encourages eligible candidates to take advantage of this extended deadline and apply for the available seats in their preferred subject streams.
