Coimbatore: Former Tamil Nadu BJP State President K Annamalai and AIADMK Coimbatore North Assembly Constituency In-charge Chandrasekar today conducted intensive election campaigning in the Kannapan Nagar area of Coimbatore North Assembly constituency, supporting BJP candidate Vanathi Srinivasan.

During the campaign, both leaders engaged with the public, highlighting the difficulties faced by women under the DMK government. They enumerated various issues plaguing the state under what they termed as the "non-dawn" rule that is deteriorating Tamil Nadu's progress.

The campaign focused on reaching out to residents of Kannapan Nagar, where the leaders went door-to-door and addressed street corner meetings. K Annamalai and Chandrasekar presented a detailed account of the DMK government's failures and urged voters to support the lotus symbol in the upcoming elections.

The joint campaign by BJP and AIADMK leaders demonstrates the alliance's coordinated effort to challenge the ruling DMK in the Coimbatore North constituency. Vanathi Srinivasan, the BJP candidate, has been actively campaigning across the constituency with support from senior party leaders.

The campaigning saw enthusiastic participation from local party workers and supporters who accompanied the leaders throughout the Kannapan Nagar area, distributing campaign materials and engaging with voters on key electoral issues.
