TNAU, today announced the provisional rank list for the UG Programmes. Deeneshwar, a student from Namakkal topped first with a cut off of 199.75 followed by Dakshinamoorthy from Trichy with the same cut off and Manoj Kumar from Ramanathapuram district in the 3rd place.
Compared to last year there has been a 22.9% notable rise in the number of applicants, 33,316 students have applied for the UG courses, whereas only 2300 seats are available. The number of seats could be altered according to the demand and response for the courses. The plans of opening two new colleges this year are under scrutiny, said Dean, Ramasamy.
The students will be called in for the counselling sessions based on merit and communal reservations, starting from June 27th to August 1st. The details about the venue, time and date of counselling would be intimated to students only through online.
