38,000 Pirated film DVD's seized in the city


A vigil to curb the distribution of pirated DVD's in the city, was conducted by Jayalakshmi, Head of the Anti-Video Piracy Cell.

A crew of 50 policeman from the department inspected close to 25 DVD's shops around the city and seized 38,000 new film DVD's. The police arrested 25 shop owners for doling out pirated DVD's to the public.
