The doctors explained the heart-rending situation to Rajini's parents who generously conveyed their willingness to donate their son's organs. Today morning, the doctors expedited the statutory process and carried out the needful for retrieving his Heart, Liver, Kidneys, Eyes, and skin.
"His loss is unbearable to our family. By donating his organs, we felt that it would help at least someone to live their life fully. So, we wholeheartedly accepted to donate his organs” said Mr.Ramasamy, father of the deceased.
Dr. Nalla G. Palanisamy, Chairman of KMCH thanked the family and appreciated their generosity towards a noble cause. The harvested kidney and liver were both transplanted to the same patient, which is yet another achievement and a unique procedure, he proclaimed.
