Welfare schemes dispersed to the public at Collectorate


Every Monday is declared as the Petition day at the Collectorate. Public, Political parties, Social welfare organisations around the city file their petitions at the Collectorate on various pressing issues.  



Today the District Collector N. Hariharan received petitions from the people and assured them of timely action to resolve the issues.

He also distributed various welfare schemes worth Rs. 46,800/- to the deserved. Two scooters for the physically challenged, a wheelchair and artificial limbs for five victims, were distributed today at the Collectorate. The Collector also passed orders to sanction pension to three people, who have already filed petitions for the same.
