More than 1000 students participate in Fresher's Meet at Sri Krishna Engineering College



Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology (SKCET), Kuniamuthur, Coimbatore today organised a Fresher’s day programme for the newly inducted students.

The Senior Students from B.E and B.Tech departments gave a rapturous welcome to the freshers. 



The Chairperson and Managing Trustee, S. Malarvizhi of Sri Krishna Institutions in her address, thanked all the parents and students for choosing Sri Krishna Institutions as their path for destiny. She also advised the students to make use of this opportunity to groom their character which has a great impact in their future.



Dr. Kavidasan, HR- Director, Roots Industries while addressing the gathering, stated that "School education taught on how to score marks, but college education will help you to develop your knowledge and skills. So, you should develop both career and life skills'.

Dr. K. Sundaraman, CEO of Sri Krishna Institutions proclaimed the Institution's vision and mission and emphasised on the role of college in a student's life. 

Dr.M.Jayakumar, Chief Administrator of SKCET highlighted on the current challenges posed on students concerning jobs. He advised the students to develop their employable skills in sync with the requirements of the employer. 

All Department Heads, Professors, Students and Parents keenly participated in the Orientation Programme.



The event also hosted felicitation of toppers from each department.
