Golden Jubilee Celebration at Air Force Sulur

A cycle expedition was successfully conducted as a part of Golden Jubilee Celebration of 5 Base Repair Depot, Air Force Sulur.

The expedition team consisting of 30 Air Warriors of Air Force Station Sulur was flagged off by Air Commodore RR Gandhi Air Officer Commanding,26 Equipment Depot. Air Force on 30 July 2016 from Bangalore.

The expedition led by Group Captain SS Prabhune and Wing Commander Raja Narayanan covered the distance of 360 Kms from Banglore to Coimbatore in 2 and half days taking the route from Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Salem and Erode.

The purpose of expedition was to highlight the glorius past of Indian Air Force 5 BRD AF Air Force Sulur and spread awareness regarding " SAVE NATURE". In addition to help improving physical & mental fitness and toughen the Air warriors to face their professional challenges.

Expedition team was flagged in at Air Force Station Sulur by Air Commodore GSPN Choudhary Air Officer Commanding 5 BRD on August 1, 2016.
