6-year old student wacked by teacher


In an incident were a six year old boy was beaten by his teacher at St.Mary's Matriculation Hr.Secondary School, Gandhipuram created agitation amongst the parents. 

Pravin Kumar a student of class two was beaten up by his teacher Sheela at his classroom.

The Child had swelling on his cheeks and ears and was taken to the Primary Healthcare Center and later to Government Hospital for treatment.

The infuriated parents of Pravin Kumar staged a protest in front of the school condemning the ruthless behaviour of the teacher and the school management.

Pravin Kumar's mother alleged that the teacher Sheela, has been treating all the children very harshly and that the school management has been lethargic on the issue. 

The School management responded to the parents protest by reassuring them of stringent action against the teacher and act cautiously in future to avoid such unsought incidents.
