Parents allege school authorities for maltreating their son

Santhosh Kumar and Parimala, parents of Saravanan filed a petition to the District Collector against the school authorities of Kembanaickampalayam Government School.

They revealed that last year their son's tamil teacher Marappan had brutally beaten up their son for a scuffle between Saravanan and his class mate. The teacher had made Saravanan bend down and sat on him for 40 minutes in the notion of punishing him, they alleged.

Presently, the teacher Marappan has been continuing the spree of punishments and torturing their son by citing last year's incidents. He has also been using abusive language to Saravanan before other students. The parents took up the issue to the headmaster but no action was initiated till date, they stated.

Hence, the parents requested the Collector in their petition to take immediate action against the obnoxious behaviour of the teacher and the school authorities and secure their child's education at the school.
