The Arya Vaidya Pharmacy (Coimbatore) Ltd hosted a seminar which was organised by The Pharmaceutical Export Council (Pharmaexcil) and supported by the Ayurveda Medicine Manufacturers Organization of India (AMMOI), Ayurveda Drug Manufacturers Association(ADMA) and Care Keralam.

The seminar was inaugurated and chaired by Shri Sudhanshu Pandey, IAS, Joint Secretary Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India. The seminar was devised to draw a roadmap on the trade policy of the country on regulatory/registration guidelines for export of Ayush Products to Europe. The seminar also held discussion sessions on challenges and scopes of exporting and importing Ayurveda medicines.
Dr. Simone Hunziker, President of Indo-Swiss Ayurveda Foundation, representing Switzerland, Dr. Madan Thangavelu and Dr. Med. Harsha Gramminger from European Ayurveda Association, representing Germany and Dr. Valdis Pirags representing Baltic countries of Europe were the foreign dignitaries present at the seminar.

Indian representatives comprising of Dr. Ranjit Puranik from ADMA and D Ramanathan from AMMOI, Dr. Anupam Shrivatsa from Ministry of Ayush and Dr. Arun Gupta from Dabur India limited along with Dr. Aravind Vachaswi from Sri Sri Ayurveda and Dr. Somit Kumar from The Arya Vaidya Pharmacy (Cbe) Ltd along with 65 Ayurveda Pharmaceutical Companies around the country participated in the seminar.
