Today, the protesting lawyers staged a hunger strike in front of the Combined District Court Complex. More than 150 lawyers participated in the hunger strike urging the Government to revoke the amendments made to the advocate act and cancellation of the suspension orders by the Bar council of India. Similar protests were staged at various places across Tamilnadu.
