Isha's PRO affirms on non-compliance of rules

At a recent press meet the PRO Eega and 'Marabin Maindhan' Muthiah of Isha Foundation answered to some pressing issues on Isha.

When questioned about Isha's encroachments at animal corridors and forest reserve lands, they denied the allegations and reported that they have seeked proper permissions from all necessary departments except from the forest department. They affirmed that the buildings at Isha have been constructed without the permission of the forest department.

Environmentalists have declared that close to 4,50,000 Sq.ft has been built by Isha illegally and that they have procured this data through the Right of Information Act.

Though the diverse issues put-forth by complainants against Isha have been deemed as unwarranted and again to prove or disprove the allegations, some reasonable time would be required by the Police and the Justice system.

But the question raised by the environmentalist and public is, if the concerned govt. authorities will necessitate immediate action against Isha based on the shocking revelation by the PRO affirming on Isha's non-compliance to rules & regulations.
