Burglars strike residence at Vilankuruchi

The recent incidents of burglaries, thefts and chain snatching have created panic among the residents leaving them with sleepless nights.

A new burglary has been reported at Vilankuruchi. Ananad Kumar, a resident of Vilankuruchi had left to outstation a couple of days back. He was back to the city today morning and was shocked to see his house locks forcefully broken. The burglars had swindled 30 sovereign of gold ornaments from his locker.

A case has been registered at the Peelamedu Police Station who visited the crime scene and collected the finger prints.
