A Sayeed, National President of the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) was in the City to preside over the State level training session for their party members at a private hall near Railway Station. After the session he addressed the media on some pressing issue of the nation.
He expressed his discontent on Prime Minister Modi's governance and the statements issued by the BJP party. He reported that their party would contest in the State's local body election without any alliances. He cited on the on-going distress situation at Kashmir and urged that the Government should pull back the Indian army from Kashmir with immediate effect. The Govt. has failed to establish peace in Kashmir and children are put in a state of trepidation due to the bloodshed in the state, he resented.
He announced that SDPI would be hosting a 'National Integrity Summit' from Oct 2nd to 8th to reinstate a India without caste/creed and religion.
