The protests staged by the DMK party members against the order by the House Speaker Dhanapal to evict the DMK MLA's from the Assembly has been at a rise across the State.
The protestors have been arrested by the Police for attempting to burn the effigy of the Speaker and for staging road roko's. Today, the DMK women's wing demonstrated a road roko at the NGGO Colony, Thudiyalur and more than 200 women activists were arrested by the police for halting the traffic.
