Kovai Terriers celebrates 67th Raising Day

The 110 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) Madras celebrated their 67th Raising Day at Red Fields on 22nd Aug 2016. As a run up to the celebrations ‘Kovai Terriers’ had organized ‘Know Your Army’ an exhibition on 17th Aug 2016 for 270 school children from BVM Global School (Karpagam Complex), Airforce School, Red Fields and Kendriya Vidyalaya, Coimbatore. 



The occasion was celebrated in remembrance to the fallen comrades at arms and a special address was delivered by the Commanding Officer Colonel K Loganathan to the troops. A ‘Bharakhana’ was organized for the soldiers and their families with an enthralling entertainment program presented by the soldiers, families and their kids. 







The event culminated with a Officers Mess celebrations attended by various civil and military dignitaries, Hon’ble Mayor of Coimbatore City, P Rajkumar,, City Commissioner A. Amalraj, and Air Commodore NS Vaidya, VSM, Commandant of Airforce Administrative College, Coimbatore.
