A fire accident has been reported at the Podanur -Pollachi road near Aathupallam.
As per reports, fire broke out at a 2-acre sugarcane farm at PVG Colony, Podanur. Some miscreants had set fire to the dried stalks piled up at the farm.
Currently, the fire department (South Zone) have controlled the fire from spreading to nearby residences. The podanur police had filed a case and are investigating on the issue.
