The Ictact's Youth Leadership Summit 2016, an annual event that brought together students from across the nation along with industry leaders, successful entrepreneur, innovators to learn, exchange ideas and collaborate to inspire the youngsters on their personal and professional development, thereby developing the next generation leaders.The summit is intended in creating tomorrow’s leaders by empowering today's youth.

Eminent Speakers from different sectors will share their ideas and best practices with the youth.
Dr.R.Kaarthikeyan IPS Former Director, CBI in his inaugural address emphasized the gathering on the importance of health in everyone's life. He stated that 'Our busy schedules makes us forget to take care of our health, which should be changed. The problem's of the neglected people in the nation should be addressed, he stated. He also shared his experience during the arrest of Rajiv Gandhi's assassins and hence advised the youngsters to stay away from anger and not to hate anyone.
Krishnaraj Vanavarayar, Chairman of Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan, engaged the crowd with his enthralling speech. He motivated the youngsters towards achieving success and reaching great heights. He also proposed an agenda to be included in the current education system like imparting the students with the knowledge of culture and heritage of our nation and the insight of numerous freedom fighters, who fought for a free India. He urged the youth to use their power towards upliftment of the nation.
Sabari Venkat, a Child prodigy and an ardent follower Swami Vivekanda from Coimbatore was the special invitee for the event. His speech on perfect communication skills left the audience spellbound.
The other key speakers were Lakshmi Narayanan, Vice Chairman Cognizant, Chairman Ictact, G.Prakash IAS Commissioner- Municipal Administration, Dr. G.Sivaraman, MD and Chief Siddha Physician, Arogya Health Care,Chennai, R.G.Chandramohan, Chairman & MD, Hatsun Agro Products Ltd, Madan Karky, Lyricist, Bharathi Baskar, Sr. Vice President Citibank and Orator, S.Raja.
The Summit will feature Ictact Youth talks and Ictact Youth Present contest 2016, where totally six students were selected from the 25,000 nominations received from 500 colleges. The contestants competed for the Ictact Youth Icon Trophy.
Close to 3000 students, Staffs, Faculties from various educational Institutions participated in the Summit.
